Alex holds an Executive MBA for international Wealth Management from GSIA Carnegie Mellon University and a MBA from the University of Geneva. In addition he is Chartered European Financial Analyst.

 He formally joined Strategic Investment Advisors Group in January 2006. Until December 2005, he was Head of the Investment Process at Centrum Bank, a specialized Privat Bank Liechtenstein. Before joining Centrum Bank in 1999 he spent three years setting up and then managing the Eastern European Equity Fund for UBS Asset Management. Alex acquired a very solid finance education at UBS Zurich, where he started his career in 1989.

Kim founded Sionna, one of the largest independent investment firms led by a woman, in 2002. She joined the industry in 1983 and has received numerous awards, including IIAC Investment Industry Hall of Fame, Morningstar Fund Manager of the Year (2005), the RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Award, Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award and the Rotman Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award. Kim is active in supporting her community and serves on many boards and investment committees including United Corp, Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Foundation as well as the Rotman Dean’s Advisory Board.

 Georg Geiger is the founder and CEO of Value-Holdings AG. He is also a member of the Management Board of Value-Holdings Capital Partners AG and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Value-Holdings International AG. He trained  as a banker and successfully completed his studies to become a graduate in business administration (FH). Mr. Geiger has been a financial analyst since 1988 and an asset manager since 1992. At Value-Holdings he is responsible for research and portfolio management.

Daniel graduated from VUT Brno. In 1993-1998 he was the director of Atlantik Financial Markets, a.s., a member of the Prague Stock Exchange, which he founded. In 1999-2004 he was the director of ABN AMRO Asset Management (Czech), a.s. In 2004, he founded the investment fund Vltava Fund SICAV. Vltava Fund is a global equity investment fund dedicated to qualified investors. Daniel Gladiš is the author of Naučte se investovat (Learn to Invest) and Akciové investice (Stock Investments).

In 2003 Angelo joined Ribofin (former advisor of Athena Fund) and worked as financial analyst up to 2008. He moved directly to Banor SIM S.p.A. in 2009 when Ribofin and Banor SIM merged as a portfolio manager, reaching the role of Head of Equities in 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration “Summa Cum Laude” at Luigi Bocconi University (Milan), he’s member of CFA Institute since 2005, CFA Charterholder since 2006, CIPM holder and participates in CFA Grading Process since 2010.

William Higgons has had a diversified work experience. He started his career as a financial analyst with Banque Indosuez in 1977 and after Insead joined Total in 1981.

After that he worked with BAII, Rhône poulenc, IBSA and Siparex. Since 1992 he has been managing the Indépendance  AM France Small & Mid Fund.

He is the majority shareholder of Indépendance AM. His investment style is quality value.

Pavel Begun is a co-founder of 3G Capital Management, a private investment partnership that invests in undervalued securities around the world.  The firm has been in business since 2004, and over that time frame is has produced a track record of significant outperformance vs. its benchmark indices. 

Heiko Böhmer is a capital market strategist at Shareholder Value Management (Frankfurt am Main). For the German asset manager with four active fund mandates and one ETF, Heiko Böhmer travels primarily in the DACH region to present the strategy of modern value investing. Heiko Böhmer has many years of experience in value investing. As a trained business editor, Böhmer has been a regular guest at the Berkshire Hathaway Annual General Meeting in Omaha since 2004. For 20 years, Böhmer has regularly covered the topic of value investing in numerous articles, interviews and lectures.
